This one goes back to where it all started.
Before the maps. The original Ground Designs.
Just clean minimalist lines and bold club colours— the essence of the ground itself.
Each design is a subtle nod to the architecture of football.
A location. An entrance. A balcony. A seat pattern.
Something about it caught our eye — and stayed with us.
There can be few football grounds in the history of world football that are as synonymous with a riverside setting as that of Shrewsbury Town's wonderful former home, Gay Meadow.
Sat snuggly on the banks of the Severn, every schoolboy in England knew it was the only ground in the country to have its own official ball retriever, whose "....job was to jump into his coracle, tied up behind the Riverside terrace, and fetch the balls as they were kicked over, once a game on average!" (Simon Inglis).
For this design I've produced a minimalist blue and yellow plan of Gay Meadow, sat in its rightful place beside the River Severn
Printed on premium semi-glossy paper,
the colours sing,
the details stay crisp,
and the atmosphere lingers.
